Couldn't sleep

I had a rough night. I just didn't sleep that well. I miss him so much. I shared everything with him. There is so much I wish I could tell him.

So far I still have not had a problem overeating. I have a different relationship with food now. I hate it. I eat only to survive. I can't stop thinking that food is what caused him to gain weight till the point that his heart gave out.

I start my Couch to 3k plan tomorrow. It is a 9 week program that takes you from being a couch potato to being able to run 3k. I am still too heavy for my 350 lbs scale. I hope I can use it by the end of the month

School is crazy busy. I have so much to catch up on. I am grateful to have a three day weekend to catch up.

I also think I will looking to finding a grief counselor to help me deal with his death.

  1. Hey. I knew Garrett through his blog and I look forward to getting to know you better through yours. I felt like I knew Garrett, even if it was just through through his blog.

I'm sorry you are hurting. Death is hard and everyone has their own way of grieving. I just hope you can accomplish all that you have resolved to do knowing that he would want this for you more than anything.

Good luck with school... what are you in school for?

I am going to look into the couch to 3k. I am down to 283 from 311. I'm excited to see what you think of it.

I hope you have a good day. I'll be thinking about you and hoping for the best.

  2. Brynn,

Thank you for your kind words.
    Congrats on losing 28lbs!!!
I am going to school for my teaching degree K-5th grade.

  3. Hey Jenn, thanks for the post. I haven't heard of the couch to 3k program, but I hope you enjoy it. I know that I couldn't easily handle the running portions of C25K, so I just had to walk and walk. Good for you for doing something.

(and make sure to keep eating something that keeps you healthy).
